Software and Hardware I use

It's always fun to see what tools other people use to get their work done. Here's what I'm using right now.

Workstation

  • Dual Xeon E5-2680 V4 Workstation

    I always looked at new hardware coming every year and never wanted to spend a lot of money. Then, SDFX SHOW, a great youtuber, made a video about a dual Xeon workstation and I wanted one. I bought a used Xeon Processors and upgraded it with a new motherboard, case, and power supply. It's a beast. I'm not sure if I need it, but I love it. The best $450 I ever spent.

  • Dell Latitude E5430

    I bought this laptop for $50. It has an i5-3320M, 8GB of RAM, and I added a 256GB SSD. It's a great laptop for the price. I use it for testing and when I need to work outside of my home, Works really great with Ubuntu, the distro I use of Linux.

  • Nothing Phone 2

    I bought this phone because I love the design and the idea of a phone that doesn't track you. I love it. It's a great phone, and I love the design. Not only the Glyphs on the back, but the software is great. I love the design of the software, and the phone is really fast. I love trying technologies that are new and different, and this phone is one of them.

  • Ocelot Keyboard OK-TKL2

    If you're going to spend all day typing, you might as well do it on a keyboard that feels great. I love the sound of the switches and the feel of the keyboard. It's cheap and great. If you want a great keyboard for a low price, this is the one.

  • XZEAL Monitor XZMXZ41B

    Speaking about cheap things, this monitor is great. It's a 1080p 144Hz monitor, and it's great, feels great while coding. I love the simplicity of the monitor and the refresh rate. It's a great monitor for the price.

Development tools

  • Visual Studio Code

    I've tried a lot of different editors over the years but I always come back to VS Code. It's just the best. I know this is a debate that will never end, but I love VS Code. It's simple, fast, and has a lot of extensions that just help you to code faster.

  • Warp Terminal

    I love this terminal. It's fast, has a lot of features like speaking normal language to the terminal and it will do the command for you. It's free. I love the design, You should try it.

  • Github Desktop

    Github Desktop is a great tool for managing your repositories. It's simple, fast, and has all of the features you to manage your repositories. I love the design and the simplicity of the app, I would recommend it if you don't know a lot of git.

Design

  • Figma

    I started using Figma on the work and I love it. It's simple, fast, and has a lot of features that just help you to design faster. It's a great tool for design and I would recommend it if you're looking for a design tool.

Productivity

  • Mimo App for Android and iOS

    I love this app. Have you ever tried Duolingo?, it's like that but for coding. It's a great app for learning to code. It has a lot of courses and it's free. It really helps you to keep the habit of coding every day to learn faster.

  • CodeStream

    CodeStream is one of the best tools who saves me a lot of time, it tells you how the services built from your code are performing, with information about golden metrics, errors, transaction anomalies, SLOs, and more.

  • Habitica

    If you are like me and you love to give a better taste to your life, this app is for you. It's a great app for keeping habits and tasks but in a game way. s an interesting work tool that allows the developer to convert the work goals into a game with levels.

  • Clockify

    Clockify is a great tool for tracking your time. It's simple, fast, and has all of the features you need to track your time. You can track your time, coding activities, and progress of the project throughout the week.
